TOGETHER CHURCH UPDATE

Dr. Robbie Foreman   -

Hello everyone!
I wanted to do a couple of things in this email.
#1. I wanted to check in and see how everyone was doing during this time of “social-distancing”? Is there anything that you need or know someone who needs something? Our building may be closed but our church is wide open.

#2 Give you some Together Church Updates

A. Sunday Services and Bible Studies
We will continue to stream Sunday services on Youtube, Wearetogether.online.church, and on our Facebook page at 10:00 AM.

You can also gather your kids (k-5 thru 5th grade) and watch a worship service specifically designed for your them at 9:00 AM. Your kids can watch the broadcast on Youtube, Wearetogether.online.church, and on our Facebook page. BTW could you click the hyperlink to youtube and subscribe to our youtube page? In order to custom our URL name, (that would make it easier for people to find) we need 100 people to subscribe.
Our services will be uploaded to our webpage on Monday and our podcast will be updated on Monday as well.
Invite people to watch Sunday’s service with you. People may not show up when you invite them to church, but I bet they would join you and watch the service online. And when they do, you can talk with them about the message (that’s called a spiritual conversation 🙂 So invite someone to watch with you this week. Facebook has a really cool feature called a “watch party”. You can learn how to launch a watch party by watching this video on youtube—–> CLICK HERE

B. Together Groups
Our Together Groups are continuing to meet together! How? Our groups are meeting virtually through a tool called, “ZOOM”. Zoom is allowing our leaders to meet together via video and is giving them a chance to still meet and grow together! (Our youth will be starting with ZOOM next week). We have commissioned each of our Together Groups to become Micro-Churches. These groups will carry out the functions of fellowship (virtual), care, worship, prayer, minister/serve.

These are not just glorified home groups, they are functioning mini-churches that are functioning to help us continue to make disciples and grow spiritually. Last week, I met with all of our Together Group leaders and we discussed how to continue to care for, worship with, pray for, and serve one another. Our leaders are up for the challenge and I am already hearing really good things.

If you are not in a group…now is a good time to jump in one! Email me at Robbie@wearetogether.church and I can get you connected.

C. Giving
First off, I would like to say thank you for continuing to give to Together Church. I have heard many pastors tell me that they are already feeling the burn of people not giving to their church during this time. Many of their congregants think because they are not meeting that their church has stopped and therefore doesn’t need funding. I am proud to say, that has not been the case with Together Church. As a matter of fact, we are seeing our highest month of giving in the short history of our church. Even during this quarantine, we are continuing to do ministry and point people Jesus. Even more now than ever! We have continued to hear how God is working through our church during this difficult time. If you haven’t set up giving yet its super simple…

Three ways to give:
You can send a check to Together Church P.O. Box 1814 Moncks Corner, SC 29461
Text the word “givetogether” to 77977
or you can always give to wearetogether.church/give

D. Communication
We will continue to update everyone through email, social media, and on our website. Be on the lookout for some Facebook live weekly events, such as a Bible study, Youth Ministry, Kids Ministry and more. If you need anything at all please email me at Robbie@wearetogether.church
